Books, books, books! Who doesn’t love books? To me, there is nothing more fun than reading a book. Books teach us; they transform us, and they take us to places we’ve never been. Illiteracy is a growing epidemic in our society. One of many things as new parents that were important to us was to read to our daughter and grow the love of learning and reading in her. We would start out reading to her during the day and before bed nurturing a routine of daily reading. Reading has become a part of her life where we have frequent outings to the local library and I’ll find her in her room in front of her bookcase reading. Our list of favorites has grown and is quite extensive now. I thought it would be a great time to share with the holidays.
