My husband and I were on a date recently and enjoyed an appetizer of what the menu called steak bites with chimichurri sauce. This sauce was so delicious I’ve been trying to duplicate it ever since. This recipe is my version. We’ve enjoyed it on steak and chicken. I’d love to hear how you like it and use it.
The Best Chimichurri sauce
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 4-6 cloves garlic
- 1/2-1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Place all ingredients in a food processor pulse until mixed and creamy.
